We’ve already heard about the launch of the OnePlus Two directly from the company. Carl Pei confirmed that the successor to the OnePlus One can launch by the end of third quarter, but that’s not the only smartphone which will come out of the labs on OnePlus.
Recently, OnePlus’s Carl Pei, while talking to PCWorld, mentioned there is another handset in the pipeline which will launch later this year, but it will target a different audience, those who prefer design over specifications of the device.
“I think its going to be a phone catering to a different type of audience. Perhaps for those who appreciate design over specs,” Pei said.
Unfortunately, there’s no other information available about the mysterious OnePlus One device, but it could cater the needs of the mid-range market rather than the high-end — a segment which the OnePlus Two should target.
The information is scarce about the specifications OnePlus Two would offer, but it’s expected to come with a 5.5-inch QHD display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset clocked at 2.7GHz, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The camera is also rumored to receive a bump to 16MP, but these are all just speculated specifications so a grain of salt is recommended.
We’ll update you as soon as we get to know anything more about alleged OnePlus devices.
