Objet has just launched a new compact office friendly 3D printer which is capable of jetting 2 materials at the same time to create advanced composite materials in one part, during a single print run.
Allowing designers and engineers to be able to create prototypes which will closely resemble their end-product with 60 different build materials available to choose from providing the capability to create up to 14 different materials in a single model part. Simulating anything from rubber to transparency to rigid ABS-grade engineering plastics. Watch a video demonstration after the jump.
The layers created by the Compact Objet260 Connex 3D Printer are 16-micron and its tray size is 260 x 260 x 200 mm it also includes easy-to-insert materials in fully sealed cartridges which are REACH compliant. more information about the new compact Objet260 Connex 3D printer is available from the Objet website.
