Nuance has today launched their new Dragon Express speech-to-text application in the Mac App store. Dragon Express has been design as an easy to use and fun speech recognition utility that introduces OS X Lion users to voice recognition, putting your words to work without the hassle of typing.
The new Dragon Express Mac App will works with all your favourite applications says Nuance including Mail, Facebook and Twitter to name a few, and the app can can be used with the internal microphone of your Mac, but Nuance does recommended using a USB headset.
Nuance explains:
“Dragon Express is a great app for those who are new to speech recognition or who are looking for an easy-to-use dictation tool that allows them to use their voice instead of typing,” said Peter Mahoney, senior vice president and general manager, Dragon, Nuance. “For those looking for a more full-featured speech recognition program, we recommend Dragon Dictate, which provides the full capabilities of advanced speech recognition technology.”
The new Dragon Express app is now available to download from the Apple Mac App Store for $50 as a limited time introductory offer price.
