Nokia is rumored to be working on a bunch of new handsets which will see the light of the day in the coming months. A recent rumor hinted the high-end Nokia McLaren, the handset rumored to come with 3D Touch, was cancelled.
Among the list of handsets is the successor to the best-selling Nokia Lumia 520, dubbed as the Nokia Lumia 530. Recently, a Vietnamese retailer listed the alleged Nokia Lumia 530 online in several color options, including green, orange, white, grey and blue.
The listing for the alleged Nokia Lumia 530 also reveals some of the specifications. The device rocks a 4-inch display sporting a resolution 480 by 854 pixels, and is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor. There’s 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card, 512MB of RAM, a 5MP camera for photos and videos, a 1,430 mAh battery and comes with Windows Phone 8.1 as its operating system. Additionally, there’s dual-SIM connectivity, weighs 129g and measures 119.7 x 62.3 x 11.7 mm.
The product listing doesn’t reveal the price or the launch date of the handset, but at first glimpse, it doesn’t look like a big update. It’s same as the Lumia 630, but with a smaller form factor.
Let’s just take this with a grain of salt as Microsoft didn’t reveal anything about the alleged handset. We’ll update you as soon as anything comes up.
