Nokia has announced its latest financial results for the third quarter of 2012, Nokia announced a total operating loss of 576 million Euros, which is around $754 million US dollars.
Nokia also announced total net sales of 7.2 billion Euros for quarter three of 2012, which is around $9.4 billion US dollars, and they revealed some details on how many of their Lumia devices they sold in the quarter.
Nokia’s Lumia handset sales were down from the previous quarter to 2.9 million units, Nokia said this was down to their new Windows Phone 8Lumia devices being announced which will be released this month.
They managed to increase their sales of mobile phones from the previous quarter to 77 million units, and they sold over 6.5 million of their new Asha touch smartphones.
