Recently, a press render of the alleged Nokia 8 was leaked, courtesy of the prolific Evan Blass aka @evleaks.
This is not the first time we’re hearing about the upcoming Nokia 8. The handset was spotted on a Scandinavian retailer website hinting at the launch of the device on July 31st. A rumor has it that it will ship with Android 7.1.1 Nougat as its operating system and will come with high-end specifications on board.
Expected Specifications and Features
The handset is expected to come with a 5.3-inch QHD display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels, which promises to deliver sharp and vibrant visuals. Under the hood, the Nokia 8 is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor, one of the most powerful chipsets available at the time, ensuring smooth performance and efficient multitasking. The device is expected to be available in two RAM variants: 4GB and 6GB, catering to different user needs and preferences.
One of the standout features of the Nokia 8 is its dual camera setup on the back, featuring two 13MP units. This dual camera setup is expected to provide enhanced photographic capabilities, including better low-light performance, improved depth of field, and possibly advanced features like optical zoom and portrait mode.
Design and Color Options
As for the design, the Nokia 8 is expected to maintain a sleek and modern aesthetic, in line with current smartphone trends. The handset is rumored to launch in four color variations: blue, steel, gold/blue, and gold/copper. These color options provide a range of choices for consumers, allowing them to select a device that best matches their personal style.
The blue variant is likely to appeal to those who prefer a classic and understated look, while the steel option offers a more industrial and robust appearance. The gold/blue and gold/copper variants add a touch of luxury and sophistication, making the Nokia 8 a stylish accessory as well as a powerful smartphone.
