If you are going to try and break into the tablet market with a new offering, you need to either be clearly better than the competition or you need to be lots cheaper. The Nextbook Premium 8 is going for the cheaper side of that equation apparently. The company has a new tablet called the Premium 8.
The tablet will sell for $349.99 and that makes it a lot more expensive than the new Kindle Fire that has just been announced. The Premium 8 is an 8-inch tablet with a TFT color screen and integrated WiFi. It comes with 25 eBooks pre-loaded and it has an integrated camera with 2MP resolution on the front.
The machine runs Android 2.3 and has a SD card slot. The screen resolution is 800×480 and it has an integrated rechargeable battery and 4GB of onboard storage. The memory card slot supports up to 32GB of storage.
