Amazon has today announced that any Kindle users who have already or will in the future subscribe to the New York Times Kindle edition of the newspaper. Will now automatically receive free access to the New York Times website and be able to access content behind the paywall.
Even though the new service has been announced by Amazon, it isn’t quite ready to use at the moment, and is currently being setup by the NYT site, and a date for free access to the site has still yet to be determined.
Once the date has been agreed notification will be sent out via email to all Kindle NYT subscribers. If you are not currently a subscriber the New York Times subscription for the Kindle is available for $19.99 per month but is currently restricted to the Kindle hardware and not any of the Kindle apps.Filed Under: Technology News
