Microsoft has today announced more details about the rollout of the highly anticipated New Xbox One Experience (NXOE) that will be launching worldwide today, bringing a wealth of new features and functionality to the Xbox One console together with backward compatibility gaming.
The backward compatibility will allow at launch 104 Xbox 360 games to be played on the next-generation Xbox One console, with more being added over the coming months.
Major Nelson explains that NXOE will start being made available after 3:01am ET/ 12:01am PT today November 12th. While the backward compatibility titles will be playable or start to appear in your collection (for digital purchases) after 3:01pm /12:01 pm (Noon) PT later today.
Microsoft also explains that all Xbox One consoles that have not updated to the new Xbox One Experience by November 23rd will receive a prompt for a mandatory update on this date.
