Following on from the launch of the smaller Cintiq 16 artist tablet earlier this year, Wacom has now introduced its new Wacom Cintiq 22 created for students and budding professionals. Offering a 21.5 inch screen with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 72% NTSC (CIE1931) colour gamut and over 8,000 pen pressure levels thanks to the inclusion of a Wacom Pro Pen 2 with Wacom EMR.
“Whether you’re used to creating on paper or using a pen tablet, making the switch to Wacom Cintiq will feel like a natural progression. The seamless interaction between the versatile digital pen and display will help improve your creative flow.”
The latest addition to the Wacom range of artist tablets is now available to purchase price from $1199 and can be connected to your Windows or Mac PC via HDMI or USB 2.0 cables. A range of accessories are also available to purchase separately in the form of a Bluetooth keyboard and ExpressKey remote. The Cintiq 22 can also be bought as a bundle with the Wacom Studio which offers a handy stand for the tablet making it easier to position for drawing, writing and sketching.
“Wacom Pro Pen 2 and Wacom Cintiq displays (available in 15.6” or 21.5”) work together to make your creative session productive and comfortable. The screen has an anti-glare film, preventing any distracting reflections. The full HD display provides great clarity, so you can see every detail on screen. The reduced parallax also gives you full control, so your cursor is where you expect to be. All this combines to make drawing on Wacom Cintiq feel as natural as drawing on paper.”
The Wacom Cintiq 22 Is now available to purchase both online from retailers such as Amazon and B&H and all retailers are listed on the Wacom website accessible by the link below.
