It looks like OnePlus are getting ready to replace their OnePlus 5 smartphone. Details and a picture of a new OnePlus 5T smartphone have been leaked.
The OnePlus 5T is rumored to come with a 6 inch display that will have a FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio.
The handset will apparently feature an ultra slim bezel on the display like the picture below and it will also apparently get a number of other updates over the OnePlus 5.
As yet there are no details on when this new OnePlus 5T smartphone will launch and we are not sure how accurate this latest rumor is. As soon as we get some more details about this new rumored OnePlus smartphone, we will let you guys know.
Expected Features and Specifications
The OnePlus 5T is expected to bring several enhancements over its predecessor, the OnePlus 5. One of the most notable upgrades is the display. The 6-inch screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio is a significant improvement, offering a more immersive viewing experience. This aspect ratio is becoming increasingly popular in the smartphone industry, as it allows for a larger display without making the phone too bulky to handle.
In addition to the display, the OnePlus 5T is rumored to come with improved camera capabilities. While the OnePlus 5 already boasts a dual-camera setup, the 5T is expected to feature enhanced sensors and software optimizations for better low-light performance and more detailed photos. This could make the OnePlus 5T a strong contender in the smartphone photography arena.
Another area where the OnePlus 5T might see improvements is in its battery life. With a larger display, the phone will likely need a more robust battery to maintain its performance throughout the day. Rumors suggest that the OnePlus 5T could come with a battery capacity of around 3,500 mAh, which would be a welcome upgrade from the 3,300 mAh battery found in the OnePlus 5.
Software and Performance Enhancements
The OnePlus 5T is also expected to run on the latest version of OxygenOS, OnePlus’s custom Android skin. OxygenOS is known for its clean and fast user interface, and the new version is likely to bring additional features and optimizations. Users can expect a smoother and more responsive experience, with quicker app launches and better multitasking capabilities.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 5T is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, the same chipset found in the OnePlus 5. However, there could be slight performance tweaks and optimizations to make the most out of the hardware. The phone is also expected to come with up to 8GB of RAM, ensuring that it can handle even the most demanding applications and games with ease.
Connectivity options are likely to include the latest standards, such as Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and possibly even support for faster LTE speeds. This would make the OnePlus 5T a future-proof device, capable of keeping up with the latest technological advancements.
As yet there are no details on when this new OnePlus 5T smartphone will launch and we are not sure how accurate this latest rumor is. However, given OnePlus’s history of releasing new models in quick succession, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the OnePlus 5T hit the market soon. As soon as we get some more details about this new rumored OnePlus smartphone, we will let you guys know.
