Earlier this month we saw the new Mercedes AMG C 43 sedan and now Mercedes Benz have announced a new version of their Mercedes AMG C 43 Coupe and Cabriolet. The new model gets a number of updates over the current vehicle.
The updates include a new twin louver radiator grille and new front and rear bumpers. The 3.0 litre V6 biturbo engine now comes with 385 horsepower, this is 23 horsepower more than the current car.
This gives the coupe a 0 to 60 miles per hour time of just 4.5 seconds and the cabriolet a 0 to 60 time of just 4.6 seconds. Both models come with an electronically limited top speed of 130 miles per hour.
Mercedes will be showing off their new 2018 Mercedes AMG C 43 coupe and cabriolet at the New York International Auto Show this month, the car will go on sale in the US later in the year. As yet there are no details on how much the new model will retail for.
You can find out more information about the new AMG C 43 coupe and cabriolet over at Mercedes Benz at the link below.
“The exterior of the C 43 Coupe and Cabriolet is considerably more expressive, even more strongly identifying the new models as members of the family. New distinguishing features include the AMG radiator grille with twin louvers in matte Iridium Silver and the powerfully sculpted front bumper with additional flics. The side air curtains in the front bumper help with optimum guidance of the front airstream. The attachment on the cross fins plus the trim element on the front splitter are finished in silver chrome.”
