We previously heard a number of rumors that Apple would launch a new smaller dock connector when they launch their new iPhone 5, the dock connector is also rumored to be in the new iPad Mini which we may see at the same time as the new iPhone 5.
Now according to a recent report Apple will also be changing the dock connector to the new smaller one on all of its existing devices this fall.
If this is correct that would mean that Apple’s existing line up of iPods, the iPad and the iPhone will also get the new dock connector, and this is expected to be announced with the launch of the iPhone 5 next month.
Apple are also rumored to be launching a new dock adapter which would let you use existing accessories with the new dock connector, it isn’t clear whether this will come free with the new iPhone 5.
