It has been few days since Google unveiled the not-so-secret Google Nexus 7 tablet. The device was expected to hit the shelves on 30th July and was available for pre-orders on many retailers across different countries. For all those users who want to get their hands on the new, shiny Nexus 7 would be happy to know that they can pre-order it from Google Play store (for the customers in United States). The orders made through Google Play Store are expected to ship by 30th July.
The device features a 7-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB storage onboard, optional 4G LTE support, HDMI output, NFC and the ability to charge your device wirelessly. On the software side, the device runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean that was released earlier.
If you want to get your hands on Nexus 7, you can get it for $229 for the 16GB version while the 32GB variant costs $269 in the US. If you are ordering it in UK, you can pre-order the device from a number of retailers including PC World and Currys for £199.99 for 16GB and £239.99 for 32GB model with the delivery time to be in September.
