Apple released their entry level iPad 9.7 back in March of last year and now it looks like they have a new model in the works.
Last years iPad 9.7 supported the Apple Pencil and this new model is expected to support the updated Apple Pencil 2.
Apple reportedly plans to launch two entry-level tablets in the first half of 2019, including a fifth-generation iPad mini and another entry-level iPad model, said the sources.
The device will apparently be launching some time in the first half of 2019 and Apple may also launch a new iPad Mini at the same time, the last one was introduced back in 2014 so it is due an upgrade.
It is not clear as yet what updated the 9.7 inch iPad will come with, we wonder if Apple will update the design with a new thinner bezel or keep it the same as the existing one. If Apple follows on from what it did last year then we can expect to see these new iPads some time in March.
