Improv Electronics the makers of the original Boogie Board have this week launched their new version called the Boogie Board RIP which now comes with built-in on-board storage allowing you to save your notes.
The new design is equipped with a 9.5 inch scratch resistant LCD display onto which you can scribble your notes using the included plastic stylus. The benefit of the Boogie Board RIP is its internal 8 MB storage which is enough to be able to allow you to store around 200 notes at a time.
On a full charge the Boogie Board RIP is capable of providing you with roughly 1 weeks worth of use or around 60 days of standby time with normal usage say Improv Electronics. All content you create on the device can then be transferred to your computer via USB connection, with each note being saved as an image that is stored in a PDF file.
If you’re wondering the RIP in the name stands for “Record Image. Preserve” they are now available to purchase in stores for $130.
