BMW has taken the wraps of their new BMW M4 Coupe and new M3 sedan, both cars will be shown off at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2014.
The M4 couple is an all new model that replaces the previous M3 coupe, the new M3 will no longer be available as a coupe like in previous years.
Both models share the same inline-6 engine, and the new engine is a 3.0 liter model which is around 10kg lighter than the previous engine.
The new BMW M4 and BMW M3 will come with 425hp, and will feature a 0-60mph time of 3.9 seconds with the automatic M-DCT transmission and 4.1 seconds with a manual transmission.

The engine is the heart of every M model, and the new turbocharged six-cylinder unit fitted in the two new cars combines the virtues of a high-revving naturally aspirated unit with the strengths of turbocharger technology. A committed lightweight design concept produces a weight saving of around 80 kilograms over the outgoing M3.
