We have heard quite a few different rumors recently about the next generation Apple iPad, first it was supposedly launching before Christmas, equipped with cameras and Apple’s FaceTime.
Now Digitimes are reporting that Apple will launch a new iPad by the end of quarter one 2011, so that would be before the end of March next year, according to suppliers of panels for the device.
Apple normally has a one year product cycle, and we are expecting them to launch the next generation iPad one year on from the launch of the first generation which went on sale in April 2010.
Apple will probably stick to their one year product cycle as they have done with the iPod Touch and the iPhone, so I doubt we will see a new iPad in stores before April next year.
