A LaserDisc copy of Return of the Jedi purchased off Ebay for $699 is said to contain 50 behind-the-scenes takes from the classic Star Wars movie that have never been seen or released to the public before or since. Although more newsworthy than the purchase is the fact that the fan(s) who bought the disc are slowly posting the bonus scenes on Facebook for all to enjoy!
To watch the 30 minutes of footage few have ever seen until now, simply click the link below and you’ll be taken there instantly. However you better hurry and watch as much as you can before it disappears forever. There are copyright issues at play that may cause the content to be taken down.
I’m not a huge Star Wars fan, but I like the old movies. The bonus content doesn’t provide any more insight into the story, or the direction in which the story could’ve gone, but it does give viewers more insight into the making of the film if they’re interested in that kind of thing.
I just hope you find this report in time before it’s all taken down for good. Although I’m sure if you scour the internet enough you’ll find the clips somewhere in its dark recesses.
