Mundo has created snowboards specifically designed for hiking and trails allowing you to ride when and where you want without “breaking the bank”. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the design of the Mundo Trailboards which are now available to back via Kickstarter with early bird ledges available from $319 or roughly £248.
If the crowdfunding campaign is successful and manufacturing progresses smoothly, shipping to certain countries is expected to take place during March 2019 or earlybird pledges and a little later during November 2019 or the second production run.
“The trailboard weighs 5 pounds – less than half the weight of the average snowboard and bindings. This makes a huge difference when bringing it to places outside the resorts. The trailboard will get you walking to riding without missing a step. Where can I use trailboard? Try backyards, sledding hills, state parks, nordic centers, snowshoe trails, and hiking trails. Anywhere with snow and change in elevation will work! Many ski resorts will allow trailboards as long as you wear the leash, but always check with the resort first. “
