It looks like there is more evidence which points to a February launch for the Motorola Xoom tablet, recently we heard that the Motorola Xoom had appeared in a retailers inventory system with a launch date of February.
Now according to DigiTimes, it looks more like the Xoom will launch some time next month, which sounds about right considering that Google will officially show off Android 3.0 Honeycomb later this week on the 2nd of February.
If Motorola launches their Xoom Tablet it February, it would be a good move for the company, as they would be the first company to market with an Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet, and this would probably give them about a month’s head start on other manufacturers who are planning to launch Honeycomb tablets.
The Motorola Xoom comes with a 10.1 inch touchscreen display, the display features a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, and processing comes from a dual core 1Ghz processor.
Other specifications on the Motorola Xoom include a two megapixel camera on the front, which is designed to be used for video chat, there is also a five megapixel camera on the back which is capable or recording HD video in 720.
On top of that, the Motorola Xoom also features an accelerometer, a barometer, a gyroscope and a compass, it will be available in two different versions, one with 3G and one with 4G LTE, the 3G model is expected to launch first with the 4G LTE model launching at a later date.
