Motorola officially announced their Xoom tablet at CES, the Motorola Xoom tablet will be one of the first tablets to ship with a tablet specific version of Google’s Android OS, Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
Motorola has yet to give an official launch date for the Xoom, but this new Android tablet has appeared in the Best Buy inventory system with a launch date of the 17th of February and it seems to be priced at $700.
The Xoom Tablet will come with Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and it features a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, it also features a dual core 1GHz processor.
There is also dual cameras, with a 2 megpixel camera on the front and a 5 megapixel camera on the rear, the rear camera is capable of recording HD video in 720p.
