HTC Advantage is an excellent offer from the Taiwanese manufacturer which give you one free screen replacement. But, it seems HTC is not the only one offering this promotion, Motorola has it too.
In a discussion on Reddit, it was revealed that Motorola is also offering a free screen replacement if the device is directly purchased from the manufacturer itself.
The offer is valid for Moto X, Moto G, Moto E, and even the upcoming Moto X+1, but as mentioned, you should have it purchased via Motorola.
One of the commenter on Reddit said, “Talked to Motorola, and they said they offer a free 1-time screen replacement on any device purchased through them, including the Moto X, Moto G, Moto E, Moto X Developer Edition, or even the upcoming Moto X+1. If it’s purchased through Motorola’s site, you get that extra perk.“
You have to bear a hefty expense if you decide to go to your carrier for replacement, or even Motorola if the handset is purchased from somewhere else — a retailer, or a carrier.
This gives you an extra incentive to purchase your handsets directly from manufacturers, then from carrier. You may have to pay in full, but in the end, you also get extra after sales service. Other OEMs are not offering this, but we’re hoping other companies will follow the footsteps of the Motorola and HTC.
