As promised, Motorola has started rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Moto Z Play in the Europe with firmware version NPN25.137-15-2.
There’s no word when we’re going to see the update in other regions where Moto Z Play is available, but it wouldn’t be too far away considering the past record of Motorola, especially when it comes to updates.
The update brings a handful of new features and enhancements, including improved security, better notifications, and much more.
As with all the software updates, the over-the-air update may take some time to completely reach all devices as the process is gradual. So there’s no need to worry. Alternatively, you can manually check for the update from Settings on your device.
As for the users residing in the United States, the Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to hit the devices sometime in March. We’ll update you as soon as that happens.
