Motorola’s first new global smartphone was announced yesterday, the Motorola Moto G, and now we have a video of the handset in action from the guys over at Android Community.
Motorola are marketing their new Moto G as a global full featured smartphone with a budget price, prices of the handset will start at $179 in the US.
The Motorola Moto G features a 4.5 inch high definition display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the handset features a quad core Qualcomm processor.
Powering the Moto G is a quad core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor with a clock speed of 1.2Ghz, the handset also features 1GB of RAM and a choice of 8GB or 16GB of built in storage.
The Motorola Moto G also comes with front and rear facing cameras, on the front of the device there is a 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat, on the back we have a 5 megapixel camera for photos and video.
The handset also comes with a 1.950 mAh battery, WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth 4.0, the device will come in a range of different colors, as you can see in the photos above.
The 8GB Moto G will retail for $179 in the US and the 16GB Moto G will retail for $199, the handset launched in Brazil yesterday, and will launch in the UK next week, it will be available in the US and other countries in January.
