Motorola has answered a lot of vital questions today, including the availability of Moto X in other regions, the possibility of a Moto X successor as well as a smartwatch.
During the Motorola’s MWC press dinner, Motorola senior vice president of product management Rick Osterloh mentioned Moto G is the most successful smartphone launch from the company.
Motorola said on Twitter, “Mark Randall talking about importance of giving people access to smart phones. Moto G now Motorola’s most successful launch.”
The handset is without a doubt creating its mark in the budget-friendly category and brings an excellent set of specifications considering its low price tag. In the US, the handset costs $179 for the 8GB model while the 16GB comes with a $199 price tag. It’s not just the US, the handset has seen the light of the day in other regions as well, and that too with a competitive price tag.
Above them all, the handset received the latest Android 4.4 KitKat before most high-end devices in almost all the regions where it was launched, so there are pretty good reasons for Moto G to claim the crown of the “most successful” for Motorola.
