Selfridges is a major department store in the UK and it was founded in 1909, which happens to be the same year that the Morgan automotive company was formed. To celebrate that 1909 founding Selfridges and Morgan have teamed up to build an exclusive electric three-wheel vehicle that will only be offered via Selfridges.
There will be 19 of the little three wheelers built to order with each of the cars numbered 01-19. That build number will be placed on a mini bronze plaque. The cars will also have bronze grills and will use British materials on the interior and hardware. Selfridges is also working with 09 fashion partners to create limited edition made-to-order driving kit exclusively for those who but the car and each piece will be numbered to match the car.
There is no word on exactly what sort of performance or driving range the Morgan EV will offer. As tiny as the car is, the battery can’t be that large so I would assume it’s very limited. Selfridges is also having a contest where five people will win a Morgan VIP experience for two with a tour of the factory, a ride in a Morgan 3-wheeler and a goodie bag.
