It looks like we have some more information on the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, as a handset with the model number SM-G925W8 has appeared in the AnTuTu benchmarks.
The model number corresponds to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and it looks like the handset will have almost identical specifications to the Galaxy S6.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will come with Android 5.0.2 and the handset will feature a 5.1 inch display with curved sides that has a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Processing on the Galaxy S6 Edge will come in the form of Samsung’s new flagship mobile processor, and eight core, 64-bit Samsung Exynos 7420 processor, and you can see the performance of this new processor below compared to the Exynos 5433.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will include an ARM Mali-T760 GPU, the handset will also be equipped with a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 20 megapixel rear camera that will have a range of advanced features.
The model listed in the AnTuTu benchmarks showed 32GB of included storage, there will also be two other options, one with 64GB the other with 128GB of storage.
We are expecting the new Galaxy S6 Edge and the Samsung Galaxy S6 to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress in March. Samsung are holding their Unpack 2015 press conference at MWC 2015 on Sunday the 1st of March.
