We have seen a number of photos of the LG Nexus 4, a device which is reported to be Google’s next Nexus smartphone, and now we have another one which looks like a press shot of the handset, complete with the Nexus branding.
The following photos were posted to Twitter via @evleaks, and we are expecting Google to officially announce the LG Nexus 4 at their Android event next week on the 29th of October.
Specifications and Features
The LG Nexus 4 is rumored to come with Android 4.2 Key Lime Pie, which is expected to bring a host of new features and improvements over previous versions of the Android operating system. The device will apparently come with a 4.7-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, providing a crisp and clear viewing experience. This high-resolution display is ideal for watching videos, browsing the web, and playing games.
Under the hood, the Nexus 4 is expected to be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, which should provide plenty of power for multitasking and running demanding applications. The device will also come with 2GB of RAM, ensuring smooth performance even when multiple apps are open. Additionally, it will feature 16GB of built-in storage, which should be sufficient for most users, although it is not yet clear whether the device will support expandable storage via a microSD card.
Camera and Battery Life
The LG Nexus 4 is also rumored to come with an 8-megapixel rear camera for photos and video. This camera is expected to offer a range of features, including autofocus, LED flash, and possibly even HDR capabilities, allowing users to capture high-quality images in a variety of lighting conditions. For video chat and selfies, the device will feature a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, which should be adequate for most users’ needs.
Battery life is always a critical consideration for smartphone users, and the Nexus 4 is rumored to feature a 2,100 mAh battery. While this may not be the largest battery on the market, it should provide a decent amount of usage time, especially with the power-efficient hardware and software optimizations that are expected to be part of Android 4.2.
In addition to these core features, the Nexus 4 is likely to include a range of connectivity options, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC, allowing users to easily connect to other devices and networks. The device may also support wireless charging, a feature that is becoming increasingly popular in high-end smartphones.
Overall, the LG Nexus 4 is shaping up to be an impressive device that combines powerful hardware with the latest version of the Android operating system. With its high-resolution display, powerful processor, and advanced camera features, it is likely to be a popular choice among smartphone enthusiasts.
