We have been hearing about the new Oppo U3 smartphone since late last year, and now the handset has turned been certified by TENAA, which is China’s equivalent of the FCC.
We previously heard some specifications on the new Oppo U3, the device appeared in some benchmarks, although the latest information has revealed some slightly different specifications.
The Oppo U3 that was listed in TENAA has a 5.9 inch display, the model we heard about previously has a 4.6 inch display, and the handset will come with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Other specifications on the handset are similar to what we heard previously, and include an eight core 1.7GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, plus 16GB of included storage.
There is also a microSD card slot for expansion, plus a 5 megapixel front facing camer and a 13 megapixel rear camera.
As yet it is not clear on why we heard about a 4.6 inch Oppo U3 previously and now the same handset has turned up with a 5.9 inch display, we wonder if Oppo has plans to launch two versions of the device.
