The MOD Live device is a game-changer for winter sports enthusiasts. Imagine skiing down a slope and having all the critical information you need right in front of your eyes without having to stop and check your phone or a separate device. The GPS data helps you navigate the slopes more efficiently, while the speed and altitude data can help you improve your performance. The jump analytics feature is particularly useful for snowboarders and freestyle skiers who want to perfect their tricks.
Integration with Smartphones
One of the standout features of the MOD Live is its seamless integration with Android smartphones. This connectivity allows you to access a range of additional apps and features that can enhance your skiing or snowboarding experience. For instance, the navigation feature can guide you through unfamiliar resorts, while the resort points of interest feature can help you find the best spots for dining, resting, or taking in the views.
The caller ID and text messaging features mean you can stay connected without having to take off your gloves and fumble with your phone in the cold. The MP3 playlist feature lets you control your music directly from the heads-up display, so you can keep the tunes going as you carve down the mountain. The buddy tracking feature is another excellent addition, allowing you to keep tabs on your friends and family on the slopes, ensuring everyone stays safe and together.
The wireless camera sync feature is perfect for capturing those epic moments on the slopes. Whether you’re recording a high-speed descent or a spectacular jump, you can sync your camera with the MOD Live device to get the perfect shot.
The MOD Live costs $399 and is now available to order from Recon Instruments. This price point makes it an accessible option for serious winter sports enthusiasts who want to take their experience to the next level.
