According to the Rikomagic UK website a new Rev2 firmware will be arriving around the 17th of July for the MK802 Mini PC. That will bring with it USB LAN adapter and USB camera support to the pocket PC.
The new Rev2 firmware shortly to be released, will also bring with it a new feature that will provide users with the ability to change screen resolution under Android.
However it is still unclear as to whether the new update will provide 1080P as currently the MK802 Mini PC can only currently support 720P running Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system.
The Chinese manufacturer of the MK802 Mini PC has already added a download section to their website, in preparation for the new release. More details about the new update can be found over on the Rikomagic MK802 Forums.
