MiTAC is the latest company to enter the Netbook Arena, with the MiTAC MiStation.
This new netbook features an 8.9 inch screen and is powered by a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom Processor.
For storage there will be a choice of either a standard 60GB hard drive or a 20GB SSD, and it will come with either a choice of Linux or Windows XP.
There is also built in WiFi (B and G), Bluetooth 2.1, a 1.3 megapixel camera, an SD card slot, VGA out, and 3 USB 2.0 Ports.
The most interesting feature of the MiTAC MiStation is the built in GPS receiver, and it will also be bundled with GPS navigation software.
The MiTAC MiStation will go on sale in November for £282 (about $560) for the 60GB Linux version and £400 (about $800) for the 20GB SSD model, considering the built in GPS this is quite reasonably priced as stand alone Sat Nav units retail here for about £200.
