A new smartwatch has been created by Arvid Lindberg and his development team based in Stockholm, Sweden which takes the form of the mim X, a smartwatch equipped with an “Invisible” display. The mim X smartwatch has this week launched by a Kickstarter with the aim of raising the required funds it needs to make the jump into production. Offering and activity monitor, dual time zone support with auto synchronisation and connection to your smartphone using the dedicated companion application which supports both iOS and Android devices. Pledges are available from £65 or approximately $89 for super early bird backers, with worldwide shipping expected take place during September 2018. “mim X can help with vibrating notifications, messages and alerts, so you will never miss any important events. The messages will also display on the TLD, you won’t even have to take out your phone.”
Integrations with the smartwatch can be made from a variety of social networking applications such as Twitter, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp and more. While the fitness tracker can be integrated with Apple Health to help you store your results and data in one place.
