Microsoft has not been doing as well as it has hoped with its mobile division since the company purchased its phone business from Nokia.
Microsoft announced previously it would cut a total of 7,800 jobs across the whole company, 2,300 of these jobs were in Finland and before that the company cut 3,200 jobs in Finland.
Now Microsoft have revealed that they are cutting more jobs in its mobile division in Finland and these jobs are not part of the 7,800 they have previously announced.
Microsoft only sold 4.5 million Lumia smartphones in its last financial quarter and is havingh trouble selling its Windows Phone devices compared to other platforms like Android and Apple’s iOS.
