When Microsoft announced their new Surface Tablet, unfortunately they did not give any information on how much the device would retail for, we previously heard a rumor that they may be around $600, although if the latest rumor turns out to be correct they could be considerably more expensive.
Some pricing details for the Microsoft Surface have appeared online at a Swedish retailer, with the cheapest version of the Surface listed at around $1,000.
Of course this could just be some creative pricing from the retailer, and they may not know exactly how much the devices will retail for as yet.
If the Microsoft Surface does end up retailing for around $1,000 it would not be a good move for the company, if they want to compete it the tablet market then they would need to keep the price in line with various Android tablets and Apple’s iPad.
As soon as we get some sort of official pricing from Microsoft on their range of Surface Tablets we will let you guys know.
