Microsoft has announced their latest tablet, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, which comes with Windows 8.1 Pro and features a new 12 inch ClearType full HD display.
The 12 inch display on the new Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels and it comes with a 3:2 aspect ratio, the device is powered by the latest Intel processors.
Under the hood of the new Surface Pro 3 tablet you can choose from a fourth generation Intel Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 processor, there is also a choice of either 4GB or 8GB of RAM.
The new Microsoft Surface Pro 3 tablet comes with plenty of storage options, which start at 64GB and go all the way up to 512GB, it also comes with a microSD card slot.connectivity comes in the form of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 LE, the device also comes with 5 megapixel front and rear cameras, both are Full HD capable in 1080p so they will be ideal for photos, videos and selfies.
The Surface Pro 3 is also equipped with a full sized USB 3.0 ports, a headset jack, and a Mini DisplayPort, and the tablet measures 7.93 inches by 11.5 inches by 0,36 inches thick, and it weighs in at 1.76 lbs, and it features a battery that will give you up to 9 hours of usage.
Prices for the new Surface Pro 3 tablet start at $799 for the Core i3 model, and go all the way up to $1,949 for the top model which comes with an Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM and 512GB of solid state storage. Microsoft will launch their new Surface Pro 3 tablet on the 20th of June, although you will be able to pre-order this new Windows tablet from tomorrow, you can find out more information over at Microsoft.
