Microsoft are expected to announce their first Lumia smartphone tomorrow, the Microsoft Lumia 535, and now it looks like we have some details on another new Lumia smartphone, the Microsoft Lumia 940.
Details have appeared online of a new high end smartphone from Microsoft, the Lumia 940 which will be a Windows Phone handset, and will apparently feature a 5 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The Microsoft Lumia 940 is also rumored to come with a quad core 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM, the handset will also get some high end cameras.
The rear camera on the Lumia 940 is rumored to be a 24 megapixel PureView camera which is said to be capable of recording Ultra HD video in a 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
On the front of the Nokia Lumia 940 there will be a 5 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls which will apparently be capable of Full HD video in 1080p.
This new Lumia 940 is said to be the successor for the Nokia Lumia 930, the device will apparently feature a similar design, and it will apparently come with a choice of either 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of built in storage.
If these rumors about the new Microsoft Lumia 940 are correct, it could be an impressive Windows Phone device, although we are not expecting the device to launch any time soon.
