Mercedes have been teasing their replacement for the AMG SLS for a while, the new Mercedes AMG GT, and now the company has released a new video.
The video below shows the new AMG GT under camouflage, and the company talks about the various engine modes that will be available in this new supercar.
The new Mercedes AMG GT will actually come with 60HP less than the AMG SLS it is replacing, although it is expected to be faster than its predecessor. It will be powered by a 4.0 liter V8 engine, that will feature 503 HP and 479 pound-feet of torque, it will also be equipped with two turbochargers.
This is one car we are looking forward to seeing, the engine certainly sounds very impressive from the video. Mercedes will unveil the new Mercedes AMG GT later this year, it is expected to be made official some time in the fall.
As yet we do not have any details on exactly when it will be available, and how much it will cost, although we are expecting it to retail for a similar price to the AMG SLS which currently retails for £191,000 in the UK, as soon as we get some more details on this new supercar, and also some decent photos of it, we will let you guys know.
