Last year, Meizu released their flagship device, the Meizu MX4, which is already up for international pre-orders for $449 for the 16GB model.
If you’re based in Malaysia, you be glad to know to know that Meizu MX4 will hit retail in the region from the company itself for RM 1,048 (almost $322) by October end.
This is an extremely competitive price for a handset like the Meizu MX4, which offers top-of-the-line specifications. The handset comes with a 5.36-inch display sporting a weird resolution of 1920 by 1136 pixels, with a MediaTek MT6595 processor, and 2GB of RAM. There’s 16/32GB of internal storage, a 20.7MP Sony Exmor RS camera for photos and videos, and a 2MP secondary camera. There’s a 3,100 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its operating system.
The 16GB model appears to be cheaper than the international price of the handset, which is $449, while the 32GB model costs $489. The company mentioned it has received almost 7.7 million pre-orders of the handset. The price also include shipping and import tax for parts of North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
Malaysian users, are you planning to get the handset when it launches later this month?
