Mazda has unveiled a limited edition MX-5 that is exclusively for the UK market. The special car is called the MX-5 Arctic and it has some cosmetic bits that other MX-5s don’t get. The car has all the gloss black trim with silver pieces that go throughout the car. The windshield surround is silver, mirror caps, wheels, and headrest hoops are all silver as well. The black cup holders in the console are even silver as are the scuff plates.
The exterior paint color is a light blue that almost looks like a mirror wrap in the photo. Power for the car comes from a standard 1.5L I-4 paired with a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The car is outfitted with Grand Touring equipment package.
That includes heated leather seats, rain-sensing wipers, and rear parking sensors. Mazda is limiting the Arctic edition to 400 units and they will land at dealerships in February 2017. There is no word on the price of these limited edition cars at this time. It can’t be much more expensive than the other versions since there isn’t much different.
