MacBook owners looking for a way to wirelessly charge their Apple MacBook may be interested in a new wireless MacBook charging pad called the MagC created by a team of engineers in Boston, Massachusetts.
MagC has this week launched via Kickstarter to raise the required funds it needs to go into production. Pledges start from $139 for earlybird backers with shipping expected to take place during March 2018.
Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the technology incorporated into the MacBook charging pad.
– Wireless Charging :Compact and robust, MagC clips onto the bottom of your MacBook. It is equipped with Qi standard components that enable you to charge your computer using the newest in wireless induction charging technology.
– iPhone Compatible : MagC is compatible with the newest iPhone models with wireless charging capabilities. Apple did not release a wireless charging station; new iPhones will require third party chargers to power wirelessly. So why not charge your computer wirelessly with the same station?
– Smart Sensing Charger : Technology in the charging pad detects when your computer is present. That way your charger won’t waste energy when your computer isn’t there.
