I am a huge fan of robot vacuum cleaners. I hate to vacuum and I would like to get one of these robotic vacuums that will keep my living room floors clean. I am not sure they are up to the task of taking care of two kids and two kittens though. The robot might give up and run away to find a Jawa home. There are a bunch of robot vacuums on the market today with iRobot being the most famous.
LG has a new robotic vacuum that it will be launching in Korea soon called the VR6172LVM. The robot will sell for about 779,000 won and will scoot around and under your furniture sucking up dirt and debris. One cool feature that sets this apart from the others is a voice diagnostic mode.
The LG product has a Self Voice Over Diagnostic feature simply called Smart Diagnostic. The user can hit a button and the robot will run through 14 different self-tests. If it finds a problem with any of the tests it will tell the owner, using its little robot voice, what needs fixed. The vacuum is also quiet with a noise output of 48dB.
