There’s a piece of good news for the Indian users in possession of the LG G3. The company is now rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in India, which brings all the goodness of the latest Android operating system.
The update is already available in several regions across Europe, and it should continue to roll out in other regions in the coming months.
It’s also worth mentioning that only the unlocked version of the LG G3 received the update in the regions where its rolling out. The users with carrier-branded version of the handset have to wait a little longer as the update is usually longer when it comes to carriers. Carriers have to approve the update before they roll it out for its users.
As for the Android 5.0 Lollipop, it brings a handful of new features and improvements to the operating system. It introduces the all new Material design, as well as improved lock screen notifications, better power management, brad new ART runtime, improved security, and much more.
