The name Prime has been used to describe a number of rumored smartphones, like the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, which will launch as the Galaxy F, and also the HTC One M8 Prime, and now some LG trademarks have been discovered for the LG G Prime.
As well as the LG G Prime trademark, the company has also filed a number of other trademarks using the Prime name, these include the LG F Prime, The LG L Prime and the LG W Prime.
These new trademark filing were discovered by the guys over at Phone Arena, and they were filed with the USPTO quite recently on the 3rd of June, we wonder if LG thought the ‘Prime’ name would be a good name for new devices, after al the rumors about ‘Prime’ handsets from other manufacturers.
Of course this does not mean that LG will ever use these new trademarks in future smartphones, although these could be used for new version of LG’s existing range of devices, like the LG F series and the LG L series.
As soon as we get some more information on exactly what LG has planned for these new LG G Prime, LG F Prime, LG L Prime and LG W Prime names, we will let you guys know.
