We recently heard that Motorola would be re-branded to Moto by Lenovo and now the company has revealed some more plans for Motorola.
Moto by Lenovo will focus on high end smartphones, this means that they will no longer be making budget devices like the Moto E and Moto G handsets.
Lenovo’s mobile boss Chen Xudong recently confirmed in an interview that the company will be focusing on high end smartphones, he also confirmed that the Moto G and Moto E would be killed off.
The Moto G has been one of Motorola’s most popular smartphones, so it seems strange that the company would kill the device off, although it does not fit in with their new strategy of producing high end devices.
It will be interesting to see exactly what Moto by Lenovo has planned for their 2016 smartphones range, as soon as we get some more details on any new devices, we will let you guys know.
