Lenovo has just released details of a new line of slim notebooks which look almost as good as their new IdeaCentre A600 desktop PC, The Lenovo IdeaPad Y Series Notebook Range.
This new range of notebooks features 3 models, the Y650 which features a 16 inch LCD display, the Y550 with a 15 inch LCD display and finally the Y450 which features a 14 inch display.
According to Lenovo, these new notebooks are the thinnest and lightest in their class, and they feature a slim chassis, which is made from carbon fiber, the Lenovo Y Series Notebooks measure in at just 1 inch thick at their thinnest point, and weigh in at just 5.6 pounds.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Y Series notebooks can be configured with various specifications, with up to 4GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, optional Nvidia GFX graphics cards.
Prices will start at around $830 for the Y450, and the top end 16 inch IdeaPad Y650 will start at $1,200, they are scheduled to go on sale in March.
