Lenovo has launched its new IdeaCentre A720 all-in-one PC this week, that was first unveiled at CES earlier this year, and comes equipped with a 27-inch 10 point multi-touch display.
The IdeaCentre A720 is now powered by Intel’s new Core i7-3610QM Ivy Bridge processor, which is supported by 8GB of DDR3 RAM, providing an increase from the guide price revealed at CES.
A 1TB hard drive is provided for storage and an option for a 64GB solid state drive is available if desired, as well as a TV card tuner. Lenovo explains:
“The IdeaCentre A720 is a rare combination of up-to-the-minute technology and contemporary style. While it boasts a large, 27″ screen, the A720 All-in-One is ultra-slim and a delight to use.”
Enhanced Performance and Versatility
The Lenovo IdeaCentre A720 is designed to cater to a wide range of computing needs, from everyday tasks to more demanding applications. The inclusion of the Intel Core i7-3610QM Ivy Bridge processor ensures that users can enjoy a seamless and responsive experience, whether they are multitasking, streaming high-definition content, or engaging in creative projects. The 8GB of DDR3 RAM further enhances the system’s performance, allowing for smooth operation even when running multiple applications simultaneously.
The 27-inch 10 point multi-touch display is a standout feature, offering a highly interactive and intuitive user experience. This makes the A720 an excellent choice for users who enjoy touch-based navigation and applications. The display’s large size and high resolution also make it ideal for media consumption, providing vibrant and clear visuals for movies, games, and other multimedia content.
Design and Usability
One of the most notable aspects of the IdeaCentre A720 is its sleek and modern design. Despite its large screen, the A720 maintains an ultra-slim profile, making it a stylish addition to any workspace or home environment. The system’s stand is highly adjustable, allowing users to position the screen at angles ranging from a reclining 5 degrees to a fully upright 90 degrees. This flexibility ensures that users can find the most comfortable and ergonomic viewing angle for their needs, whether they are working, browsing the web, or watching videos.
The A720 also includes a range of connectivity options, making it a versatile hub for various peripherals and devices. With multiple USB ports, HDMI input and output, and a built-in card reader, users can easily connect external storage devices, displays, and other accessories. The optional TV card tuner adds another layer of functionality, allowing users to watch and record live television directly on their PC.
The Lenovo IdeaCentre A720 starts at $1849 with a stand that allows you to position the system from a reclining 5 degrees to 90 degrees to suit your needs. More information of the IdeaCentre A720 system can be found over on the Lenovo website.
