If you are a fan of the Halo series of games and enjoy dabbling with a little Lego, you will be impressed with this full-sized replica of a Halo sniper rifle which has been built entirely from Lego.
This fantastic Halo sniper rifle replica has been built by Lego master builder Nick Jensen, who has already built a number of other Halo weapons from the game. The sniper rifle measures 63 inches long and weighs over 10lbs in weight and even comes complete with a removable magazine mechanism, and moving safety and sliding bolt.
The complete build took Jensen over 4 months to complete, and explains:
“I captured many close-up screenshots of the sniper rifle in Halo: Reach’s theater mode, looked up information about the gun on halopedian.com, used the Halo: Reach action figures from McFarlane, and looked at Perry B.’s version as references. I wanted to include as many details as I possibly can squeeze in. I wanted the final MOC to be perfect.”
The Intricacies of the Build
Jensen’s dedication to detail is evident in every aspect of the sniper rifle. The use of close-up screenshots from Halo: Reach’s theater mode allowed him to capture the intricate details of the weapon. By cross-referencing with information from halopedian.com and using action figures from McFarlane, Jensen ensured that his Lego creation was as accurate as possible. The inclusion of a removable magazine mechanism, moving safety, and sliding bolt showcases his commitment to functionality as well as aesthetics.
The sniper rifle is not just a static model; it has moving parts that mimic the real weapon’s functionality. This level of detail is what sets Jensen’s work apart from other Lego builds. The sliding bolt and removable magazine add a layer of realism that makes the sniper rifle more than just a display piece. It becomes an interactive model that fans of the Halo series can appreciate on a deeper level.

Jensen’s work has not gone unnoticed in the Lego and Halo communities. His builds have inspired other Lego enthusiasts to take on similar projects.
