The new LEDVANCE HomeKit-compatible Sylvania Smart A19 Full Colour LED bulb is now available to pre-order from online retailers such as Amazon priced at $45
Designed to support Apple’s HomeKit home automation system, the new LED bulb integrates with Siri allowing you to control your lights with voice commands and your smartphone.
The Sylvania Smart A19 Full Colour LED bulb is expected to start shipping during September 2017 and will compete with the likes of the Philips Hue. Unlike the Hue the Sylvania does not need to be connected to a router. Features and specifications include:
• Works with Apple HomeKit to support millions of color options and dimming capabilities. No additional hub required.
• Control your lights with voice integration through Siri – Ask Siri to dim your lights, change the color, set a scene, or turn on and off.
• Adjustable white color temperature from 1200K to 6500K allows you to feel better and more productive – Select a natural daylight color for reading and concentration, or a warm white to relax.
• Use away from home control to turn your lights on and off at designated times for more security. (Home Hub setup required using Apple TV (4th generation) with tvOS 10 or an iPad with iOS 10 or later.)
• Easy to set up
